1. Product description  
This device is a wireless controller specifically for use with PlayStation2™. It can also be used  
with PSONE™ and PSX™. The controller works at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, has a double  
vibration feature as well as all other functions of the original SONY units. The controller also  
has Turbo and Program functions.

4. Connecting the receiver

Insert the receiver plug  
into the appropriate slot on the PlayStation™ console and then  
switch on the PlayStation™. The POWER-LED  
on the receiver will come on. The RX-

LED will remain on as soon as the receiver is connected to the controller.

5. Inserting / replacing the batteries

Before using the controller insert the batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the  
unit. To do this, open the battery compartment , insert the new batteries according to the  
polarity and close the compartment. Please ensure the controller has been switched off before  
you replace the batteries. Please also read the information on safe disposal of batteries.

ƒ Never mix battery types and never mix old and new batteries. Replace the batteries as  
soon as they become too weak or where the unit has not been used for some time.  
ƒ There is a risk of explosion if the batteries are not replaced in the proper manner. Please  
ensure the batteries are always inserted according to the correct polarity. Replace the  
batteries with the same brand or similar batteries. Risk of explosion when batteries are  
replaced incorrectly.  
ƒ Do not attempt to recharge a non-rechargeable battery. There is a risk of explosion.  
ƒ Batteries / rechargeable batteries can be fatal if swallowed. Please store batteries out of  
reach of small children. Seek medical help immediately if a battery has been swallowed.  
ƒ Do not expose the batteries to heat or flames. Never short-circuit batteries; never try to  
force open batteries; never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Batteries may  
otherwise explode and cause serious injury.

12. Button programming function:  
You can program and save the button sequence using the PROGRAM function.  
Setting the PROGRAM functions: Press the PROGRAM button . The RX-LED  
light will come on. Now press the button which you want to programme with a combined  
function. Then press the desired button sequence (a maximum of 15 buttons) finish by  
pressing the PROGRAM button.  
The RX-LED light will go out.

Clearing the PROGRAM functions: Press the PROGRAM button
